The Ocean Race 2027
Building on the foundation of this year’s race, destination AMAALA anchors itself in the sailing heritage of the Red Sea.
Its commitment to ocean health and regeneration will support and enable more extensive science data gathering and observations during the races while promoting more engaging communication around ocean science, health and literacy.
In less than two years’ time, the 15th edition of the round-the-world race will start from its home port of Alicante, Spain in January 2027 with the Grande Finale taking place at AMAALA in the Red Sea.
